Olympic fun!
Friday 27, of may seemed to be the craze of the afternoon with the Olympics. There was a tug of war game between all advisory classes. We have pictures showing the winning teams and the tug of war in the process. The long jump happening by a enthusiastic student, and a few others playing basketball. All in all it was quite a fun evening if i do say so myself.

Looking for a summer style?
|
Clothing and hair alike it makes you hot when the smoldering, humid weather sets in. If you're looking for a new hair cut to not only tan your neck and face but cool off here's an idea, experiment with a short style. Cut it "like a boy" as most say, then go for it, it's just hair it will grow back. Or if you love your hair to the heavens then put up in a sporty ponytail. or a bun. Clothing issue on hand, maybe try a crop top and some shorts. If your self-concise then try a dress. If this doesn't upgrade the summer decor I don't know what will. (google images)

Rin Tin Tin
By Francis Kretz
Recommendation from me, just for you. If you have ever owned or loved a dog this book is for you. This report is mainly off of my opinion, and well, I love it. This book touches on some detail of World War one - In which Leland Duncan, owner of Rin Tin Tin- was in. It tells the epic, true story of Rin Tin Tin and owner Lee Duncan's life. The Abandoned boy longing for love, Lee was dumped at an orphanage and reclaimed three years later. Lee Duncan had a passion for animals, and loved to train the dogs he owned, including; Airedale- firefly, And terrier- Jack. Lee had an interest in flying, he joined the army in hopes of flying missions. He was used as nothing less than artillery boy. Lee describes the amazing and awful things they used dogs for during this war. Lee was one day recruited to search upon an old German stomping ground, Flirey, to see if it was suitable for flying lessons. It was there Lee discovered a scared female German shepherd, who had just given birth to five small puppies. Lee kept two dogs and named them Rin Tin Tin, and Nanette. Rin Tin Tin went on to be a legend, as an actor. At first, Duncan took him to shows and presented his beauty before judges, eventually made it to the big screen with the Warner Bros. Lee was ecstatic over the ordeal and soon enough all of the other dog actors stood in the shadows of Rin Tin Tin. This book is By Susan Orlean, in which she includes quotes from Duncan's memoir and other owners of old famous acting dogs stories (Google Images)
